That's me I design user experiences with a humanistic design approach. I create insights from complex data by manipulating and designing it. I'm <a href='<a target=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maker_culture' target='_blank'>a maker proficient with the laser cutter, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and more." /> I program in Arduino C, <small>HTML/CSS</small>, Javascript, <small>PHP</small>, and (micro)Python.

My name is Sander van Beek. In 2017 I graduated from Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD) at Avans Hogeschool in Breda, The Netherlands.

I work on a lot of different kinds of projects, but I prefer working on the border of technology and human emotion. Where these two overlap something amazing happens. I like exploring and facilitating this. I accomplish this by creating new applications using existing technologies using a humanistic design approach.

As a graduate of CMD, I have a very broad range of skills. We are educated to be multidisciplinary. On the one hand, this allows me to function as a one-stop-shop for many projects. I can design and build digital systems as well as design and build physical functional prototypes.

On the other hand, it allows me to communicate between departments that are often considered separate. This also creates the opportunity to, for example, incorporate design principles in the programming department.
